…of Principles Versus Loyalty Or Individuals:

I am not for JDMahama @JDMahama, neither am I for any of the names popping up except the most obvious candidate; the one to be chosen by the party at Congress as the most credible unanimously, an  exercise which is yet to be held.

It is worthy of mention that as a party, as youth and intellectuals we remain loyal to party rather than individuals and some of our numerous  varying accusations and counter-accusations is aiding ourselves to deepen our wounds.

However, my unbias and Maverick self would LOVE to ask one AUTHENTIC question; to those of you who have suddenly resorted to name calling and suddenly vilifying our immediate past president, when did you all realise he was human, full of errors and was not going to win us an election before, during or after we left power?

A hypocrite and a coward will have a voice after we had lost the election which to me, meant we all failed collectively in our bid to go an extra mile and no individual can be made to be the sole bearer of our December 7 defeat.

A disloyal person may have noticed the signs during campaign but failed to muster the needed courage to "confront" the powers that be, and or put across his/her concerns and major worries when we were touring this nation with the supposed wrong messages, etc.

The most loyal and wise person will raise his hand and chest out boldly to I've me referred here regards where, when and how he drew the attention of whoever and what the response was.

In my candid view, we are failing to realise that JM and the other candidates whose name keep popping up like cork in water are still good allies and hold no grudge against one another, why then must we the youth begin to take to each other's throats in the name of projecting our candidates.

The political landscape and space is wide enough to actually even accommodate every single member of the party who wishes to contest the presidency without any needless turf war.

Let's use ourselves wisely or else we will be used foolishly by those who can spot our 'folly' and during the regrets, you will be indoors all by yourself alone and counting your losses.

Nobody is bigger than the GREAT NDC because the party made every one and not the other way round. Let us be reminded by our party's ideological believe; left of centre, otherwise centre-left. Your brother is your neighbor and a perceived member because we are for all. An introspection and self reflection will do us all a lot of good. I am so damn sure many of us are not happy with the latest happenings. Truth be told, some of us accused the then opposition @NPP_GH of being divisive, disunited, etc, why are we gradually making ourselves look like them instead?

This is time to reconcile, reorganise, re-strategize and present a much more formidable front than we did in 2016.

In a nutshell, we must all #GetInvolved, in that case we become #StrongerTogether, victory 2020 will be achieved and it is #PossibleTogether.

God bless our NDC and

God bless our homeland Ghana
